Curtis Sironen set to re-sign

That's around 400k a season and compared to the elite second rowers that is cheap but from what I have seen so far from him he is not compared to the elite second rowers yet .
Jack Gosiewski will keeping all our back rowers honest . For those that have not seen him play , Jack is a gun .
Your right , i bumped into a mate of his at the markets in Sydney a few weeks back and he was spewing that souths released him . He said if he can stay injury free he could be anything and that he will be pressing hard for 1st grade no problem.

This is good news with the fact that he feels comfortable at Manly , seemingly good value contract for both parties , and for the added stability for the pack into the future . Probably only a matter of time before A P I is given or takes the opportunity to recommit , maybe also a one year extension for Uate on a realistic contract with another extension option in the club's favour and as for Hastings , Croker and Kelly, i guess that we will just have to see Forwards B J , Myles and Kennedy leaving the club and additions like Thompson , Sipley and Jet Ski Gos to largely fill this void and of course hopeful improvement from guys like Paseka , A F B ,Perrett , Lane and Tanga to bolster the pack . Any additional enthusiasm and ambition can also ideally rub off on the established and existing forwards make up and will go a long way to making Manly even more competitive for the approaching season .

Jack has played 6 NRL games and I had seen 4. I have also seen him play for South's feeder club North Sydney and he reminds me of a young Ian Roberts . Left a huge impression on me . My friend who is a South's tragic rang the club to vent his disappointment at not resigning Jack and was told that although the new head coach acknowledged Jack quality as a player he did not want to sign players that are injury prone and sit out most of the season . Jack has had a bad run with injuries .
That's quite a wrap as Roberts was really dynamic when he first appeared on the scene and you are suggesting that Jack has some genuine pace like Roberts had and particularly in his early career stage ? Even if he just has a reasonable amount of Robert's ability in attack and defence , he will still be an asset and offer some promise and value for the Sea Eagles .

What I see in Jack ...
He is tough courageous no fear , puts his body on the line . He runs hard and hits hard and makes an impact .
Some on here say they are happy as long as a player gives 100% that will do me.
I say when a player is not 100% affective and they give 100% it means jack sht .
Its not about how much effort a player puts in, its all about how much damage that a player does to the opposition . Jack is one of those players that makes their present felt .

Yeah it seems we got good one here. But he down in pecking i say. Siro, thompson, frank w before he gets look in. I imagine he gets plenty game time in trials
Yeah forgot shaun lane also. So there plenty of competition for bench spots

Shaun Lane is 24
Siro is 24
Jake Trbojevic 24
Lloyd Perret 24
Kelepi 24
Gosiewski is 24
Fonua-Blake 23
Sipley 22..ish?
Paseka is 21

Manly ought to keep this lot together for long as possible. Then there is young Haumole Olakau'atu. Good days ahead

I reckon we would be expecting another 2 premierships over the next 6 years or so, built around a core of these young forwards.

We will go close next year, win in 2019, go close in 2020 and win again in 2021. The best club in the land will continue to set the standard. This same period will not be so kind to the current Roman Empire that is the Melbourne Storm. Rome will burn! And Caesar Bellamy will leave the club and possibly even the game. Hail the new Emperor Mr Trent Barrett.
