A bit of a hypothetical discussion, no? playing is about winning the comp. if you have a shot at it you just go your hardest to get there. Noone's going to say, 'ah, hang on, we might go back to back, that is not good planning....'Â The medium and longer term planning has to build around the short term. the only exception is when you have no shot at making the 8.
This year we have a reasonable shot if things go right with injuries. It's a minor miracle to be able to say that at this stage; credit to the players and coaching team given all the **** that's gone on around them earlier in the year., and the hole they were in form wise.
