most likely the former. I would much prefer a tight-lipped recruitment team, than the circus endured last season with Monnasgate and Orford.

As was mentioned by someone else in another thread, most of the rumours etc can probably be traced back to player managers trying to push up prices.

Time will tell but I would expect some pretty savvy recruiting come 1 July.

I very much enjoy the rumouring. I have some confidence in the proposition that the club is this year playing their recruitment hand a lot smarter than in the past.

I abhore the gossip magazines and the slime that is television current affairs, but I do love a good football rumour. If for no other reason than to observe the average punter's hilarious predictions.
