Injuries:

Sea Eagles speedster Tolu Koula was forced from the field with a knee injury during Saturday night's win over the Dragons.

Koula helped himself to a try in the 20th minute at Jubilee Stadium but went down injured nine minutes later and was assisted from the field.

"The initial assessment is it's a Grade 2 MCL and generally speaking that's a 4-6 weeks out for something like that," Manly coach Anthony Seibold said.

Can’t believe the $CE to Waddell rubbish actually worked twice, two of the softest tries I’ve ever seen. The Dragons fans around me on the hill were embarrassed by those and quite frankly they should’ve been 😅

At this stage of the season I’m only looking for things that will help us next year, so outside of Navale playing well and continuing to cement his place in the side I’m not exactly sure what else to take out of this game. Always nice to get a win but the last 2 weeks have felt pretty hollow.

Yeah....and the difference? Tom. Watch the defence all look to Tom (now that he's back in form) and Corey just strode through.
Tom and Haumole make everyone better when they're on, without even touching the ball. For a lot of the year we've missed that. Add in the forward deficiencies, mainly through injury and we get what we got.
Disappointing season...yes. But as a Manly supporter I'm prepared to accept that things will get better....barring another injury riddled season.

Just analysing the potential 17-man squad for our final match and I reckon there will only be eight players who would have been in our top 17 at the start of the season. Just shows you how important injuries are to success.

Got away from the Hodo syndrome for a change which had to be a positive .
Turbo continuing his recent revival and to show his true worth and ability on many occasions , Simpkin playing the full 80 with a good all round effort . Koula has to be a go to guy pretty much from the get go to really challenge opposition defences in the future
Burbo and Navale, making their marks well . Waddell while not up against real quality defence , showing again his knack of scoring off well timed close gap running
D C E largely putting in pleasingly
Hard to think that the Dragons have got the better of the likes of the Storm and Raiders in recent times so maybe down a couple of good players for this one but would think some general credit to Manly for a reasonably convincing win

Taniela is due back this round coming so, he will just slip into Sipley's spot who will be suspended for at least 3 matches.

Yeah, it's definitely "on-brand" for Sips. I reckon that's why he played so hard when he came back on: he knew they'd be his last minutes in a Manly jersey.

I'll be sad to see him go. Always seemed like a terrific clubman.
