DWZ or Whare??

Who would you prefer out of these 2 as an outside back option?

Looks like we are getting neither, so I guess the point is moot, but based solely on likelihood of injury to date, probably DWZ.

Why the question now mate, when I thought everyone concluded they just aren't happening?

Probably DWZ... but only because I think he has more potential and I think is faster. Always liked Whare, who would do a great job at centre and is a great defender. But he is probably a 'safer' option rather than one who could light up Brooky with speed and evasion.

We've got plenty of wingers available ..Uate Tofua Locke Parker .... We need quality in the centres to partner Walker mate. Whare with good knees would be great..just needs to be a genuine first grader rather than a fringe depth player.

I'm not writing Parker out of the mix. Is a genuine centre in 20's and showed plenty on debut as a light weight playing out of position on the wing. Makes good decisions in both attack and defence, and appears to have a low error rate.

With his first full preseason and a couple of extra kg's, I believe the kid will challenge for a regular first grade spot.

I would definitely take Whare, as other posters above have said. On the other hand I would definitely take DWZ, similar to different posters above.

DWZ for me as well. Just like Tom Turbo, a special player, he would be a star anywhere. He'd handle centre. Haven't the Kiwis picked him at fullback this week? He's a gun.
