Gift's contract can't be registered yet they have no problem with Hayne's value being cut by 60% because he's going to one of their preferred clubs.

That one gives me the absolute $hits TBH.

The NRL knocked back out offer to Gifty of $300k because they said he was worth at least $600k. Now at the time, Gift hadn't played rep footy for over 2 years and he was starting to spend more time on the sidelines than he was playing because of mounting injuries.

Yet now they allow doesn't-matta to sign Jarryd Hayne for $500k which is only 41.66% of his previous salary. Hayne is still relatively healthy plus he is a current rep player being not only an incumbent NSW Origin player but also the current Fiji test 5/8.

No offense to Gifty but how do the NRL come to the conclusion that he was worth more than Jarryd Hayne? Other than the fact that Greenturd was just starting his personal crusade against Manly.....

Bud - you just can’t trust Fox. They follow their own agenda more than any other media agency, which tends to be the word of Rupert himself, filtered down through his minions. Globally they are massively biased towards conservative politics, and on a micro scale they hold grudges against Manly because Ken Arthurson fought so hard against Murdoch during the Super League war. Any media outlet that has such strong bias and so many personal agendas just cannot be trusted to uphold any kind of journalistic integrity. Go to them for rumours and opinions, but treat their ‘headlines’ with a lot of caution.

Mate, like I say, what can be correct info one second in a rapidly changing league, can be vastly different the next.

So much so, I don't even think the club's themselves can be relaxed in releasing information.

These days, anything I hear / read I consider on that basis. It's hard for me to not get my hopes up, because I do, but I don't think any media, poster, mole, whoever is trying to mislead.

I don't know how many times I heard Pearce was 100% confirmed, from various people. I heard he verbally agreed and shook the club's hand, only to suddenly renege (my opinion is that Wayne Pearce, a commissioner no less - informed Mitchell of what was about to transpire with the commission's accusations against the club) which is actually illegal, and why he backflipped.

I just enjoy the info I receive and read now (the positive stuff), and blatantly ingnore and refute anything negative ! Hahaha
