How anyone could have thought he was after his pre season performances is beyond me. Makes a total laughing stock of those suggesting we should’ve just played Arthur next year instead of buying Fogarty.
Yes JA is a reserve grader and I've always thought that ,but I think the best half would struggle behind this pop gun dads army pack of forward sloths.

I don't think I've ever been as disillusioned with this club's direction than now. Even in the 1999-2005 period and the N.E debacle this place just feels like no light at the end of the tunnel. Look at Parra, Raiders, Dogs, Warriors, Tigers evenand their up and coming youngsters , the coaching direction and then look at us. Utter hopeless feeling in this club now and it seems we're the only club heading in the negative direction.
I totally agree with you Mick.

I meant game plan wise. There was literally no game plan that I could identify.
Game plans don't win games, the players do.

That was 100% **** housery from back to front. Garrick had a go but ffs that was a moping heap of dog ****.

Coaches game plans are worth about as much as the game sheet.

We weren't up for it, no one really cared and it just plays into DCE narrative.

**** happens. **** will happe next week and the week after.

This year is a fizzer and we will lose our "every decade" record.

I can't cheer tonight's effort on it was like watching the barret teams again but we had the Manly bug. Take the foot off for bottom teams and go all in for our analogs

This is not a premiership team, we have forwards that im pretty sure like getting paid, and not playing.

Crap show mate absolute crap show all over the park

I dont know if I have ever seen anything like this in my forty plus years of supporting. Absolute garbage.....! Predictable, slow, lazy, poorly coached, poorly played, just poor all round. Something needs to change and change now. We have been subpar for the past 10 years and tonight we have reached a new low. I am gutted.
I honestly feel the same. Been a supporter since 67.

Yes, it was pretty bloody horrible.

I know all coaches are different and what I'm about to say isn't a reflection on why we are playing like this, just an observation but even when they do a shot of the coaches box, seibold doesn't even look like he believes in us, he is usually sitting there and staring off into the abyss meanwhile you've got Bellamy winning 50 nil and he is pacing back and forth, nearly breaking the glass, swearing his head off after a simple error and then you've got Ricky down on the sideline sometimes in terrible conditions, kicking chairs across the field, even Ryles was on his feet for majority of the game. I know he could just be like Ivan who sits their very poker faced but that's excusable for Ivan with 4 peat champions. All I'm saying is sometimes Seibold doesn't fill me with much hope or passion.

Just back from a nice dinner out , with zero internet reception until I got back to the caravan with my Starlink connection.

Wow , pleased I missed all that.

We are ****ed for 2025, and probably years to come, a new coach won’t make any difference we need to sack 95% of the players and start again.

We won’t win the spoon but we’ll go close

Just finished watching the reply of the game (couldn’t watch it live). What an embarrassment watching those Parra breaks right through the middle in the first half. But even more embarrassing was watching what turned up in the second half.

Turbo was embarrassing in that second half after a promising first. Saab was MIA all night after his great last game (to be expected, he is a soft butter soft cork). JA was serviceable but his kicking game is well below par. Not a single kick that allowed Saab to compete. Fog would have been handy tonight.

Koula with some poor defensive decisions tonight. Simpkins failed to nail his elevated opportunity after being punished previously with demotion. Ola still not utilised with any structure bringing him into a pass with full speed. Brooks did ok, but is not the man to step up when there is no dominant alpha half.

The ref was a joke with his random applications of rules when it suited the home crowd… is this the guy who has been rewarded with SOO 1?

Just initial knee jerk responses

Saying it way too often now, yet again they didn’t seem interested. Attitude is a serious issue this year and I’m not sure there’s a fix anytime soon. I refuse to believe it’s DCE, yes he’s the captain but that was 9 weeks ago now and it’s 1 guy leaving in a massive team. 1 guy doesn’t make you play like you’ve never met.

Paseka’s injury doesn’t get enough attention. Our forwards are absolutely gone without him, we can’t compete in that department. All we have are ageing forwards (most of our signings in recent years) having to try and carry this team up field, obviously it won’t work. Bully had some solid carries as he always does but he can’t do it all, that’s not his typical role. Tonight I watched the vast majority of our sets being hit ups and us barely getting past the 50, while they made countless breaks and easy metres through the middle which allowed their backs to do what they needed to do. Unfortunately you can’t help injuries but this will just be the way things go until Paseka can hopefully return for our last 3 games. Jurbo certainly won’t be a fix, he’s getting old himself and Burbo is improving but is also not going to be a fix. Aloiai back next week is at least something, same with Tof perhaps although again, I don’t think he’s been all that great himself thus far.

Certainly on track to miss the 8 at the moment because the attitude issues and the lack of connectivity and fluidity in anything we do is not changing. Having said that, we all know we aren’t doing anything great this year anyway so maybe missing it is actually for the better, give us the “what on earth happened to them this year?” treatment so we at least have some sort of motivation to improve into next year 🤷‍♂️

BTW, Captain Turbo had a great and promising first half (given the previous mediocrity)…. But, then fell away into his previous garbage.

Let me reiterate… 30-10 against a team second last and without their only inspirational leader, Moses. Farrrkkking pathetic on any level.
