As for Croker being captain, it makes zero sense...he doesnt talk on the field. When the team is going bad, you need your captain to motivate the team. Croker doesnt have that in him.
The captaincy should be given to Garrick.

I think the problem starts with Seibold. Making Croker the captain, we can see what has transpired from both those games he was captain. Its not a knock on him in terms of effort, but all I can see is Garrick being the only guy doing the motivating and Croker isnt a talker. He needs to have the C next to his name when DCE or the brothers are away.
