Egor the Sea Eagle was cruising the northern beaches in January when his trained eagle eyes zoomed in on an elegant eagle female enjoying a sun bake at Bilgola Beach.
The couple have been a flying item throughout summer and the club is pleased to announce Egor and Ellie are now officially an item.
Yes the Quantum Sea Eagles star mascot is in love. The pair flew into a jam packed Brookvale Oval wing in wing before kick off against the Sharks last Sunday and Ellie’s long eye lashes were working overtime.
While Egor did his normal routine with the Jim Beam Seabirds on the field Ellie was checking out her big bird do his stuff.
Sightings of the pair around the Peninsula frolicking in Narrabeen Lake have proved spot on.
They have also been spotted dining out on freshly caught tuna off Barrenjoey Lighthouse and training together with some speed flying off Lion Island.
Now they have been photographed together it is obvious that they are ready to go public on their blazing affair. Egor was considered to be the most eligible sea eagle bachelor in NSW but it looks like he has finally ended his wanderlust days.
Fans close to fence last Sunday claim Egor was the perfect gentleman to his lady love. Watch this space for more reports on the high flying affair of one of the NRL’s most popular mascots.

I thought it was funny on Sunday that Egor was the one who was dancing with the cheerleaders like a girl.. Surely the peeps inside the costumes could have swapped? Would have been funnier if Ellie was the one dancing around.
