Gotta love it when you get the chance to play an actual road-tested comedy routine in real life. My friend wants to cut some high branches in her back yard, so I decided to get a long wooden handle and attach it to my pruning saw...
So went to Bunnings on Monday, said to the guy at the front, "Fork handles?" He looked quizzical, then looked it up on his screen and said Aisle 25.
I went there and it was the lighting section.
When I went back and told him we both had a laugh

Every conversation whenever you tell someone you're visiting, that you're going 'somewhere'.

ge: "Yo! I'm heading up to shop xyz."
other person (OP): "Ok,cool. To get there, take a left at..."
ge: "It's ok, I looked up the directions on google maps."
OP: "the intersection...hmmm, then you go up the highway about 5 klms then..."
ge: "Listen, it's 100% ok...I also have gps in my car. I know where it is!!!"
OP: "Then after 5 klms, turn into 'some street' then drive around the back, then..."
ge: "Ohmygod, why wont you stop talking???"
OP: "then it's the third on your left. Wait, I may as well come with you to show you the way."

ge (choking back tears): "Fine, get in the car."

5 mins later

OP: "You know it's not that far, you should really have no trouble finding it, I could've stayed at home."

I'm not sure if it is making much in the way of headlines but aust could be getting their next F1 champ if Piastri keeps going on going.
I understand racing isn't everyone's cup of tea but I think the last Aussie winner was Alan Jones back in 1980.

Alan Jones is a former Australian Formula One driver who competed from 1975 to 1986, winning the World Championship in 1980 with the Williams team. He achieved a total of 12 Grand Prix victories and is known for being the first driver to win a championship with Williams

But this is looking good and should be getting decent airtime I think.
