I agree that the time away from the game greatly affected Will’s performance. Will was a one season wonder for me. Maybe it’s because he got to start his career in a good team but what Will produced in first grade at 18/19 years old for me was easily superior to what Tom did at the same age. He wasn’t anywhere near as quick as Tom though. It is quite shocking that he never reached those heights again.
