Is a whisper going around that Foran may nab the Kiwis centre spot this weekend against England ahead of Inu and Soliola

He would not let them down. I wonder if he will be centre or 5/8 for Manly this year, hopefully 5/8 and if he starts there I doubt anyone will take the spot from him.

come to think of it foran could possibly be our future centre and fill that defensive role that we missed from Bell barring his crabbing attribute.

Bell was a gun. We all saw this past season what happens when a defensive centre disappears.

The 2009 year - we missed Bell but I think we missed Beaver a whole lot more.  Everytime we needed an effort or were in a position to score a try Beaver was always backing up and usually scored.

Having said that we were unable to put our top 17 players on the field almost all of last year.  Maybe we can have a free run from injuries and suspensions in 2010.  I hope so anyway.

I am disappointed that the Kiwi game is not being shown in Australia (if anyone knows post it here please). It will be a huge battle and well worth watching. Kiwis should end up winning this one comfortably.
