The acoustics are pretty good, I live 1K away from the stadium and I could hear the noise, the ground announcer, the crowd and that awful whinging worm song at the end. I put a curse on the place every time I walk around it. Bring on rounds 25!!

I hate seeing the Slime with a new stadium lol. It seems the worse you play the most rewarded you get lol. We all know the struggles we go through to get anything done for Manly and Brookie.

To be fair, it is a ripper of a purpose built stadium. Think they nailed the design, and the 30,000 capacity perfectly. 25,000 is a pretty decent crowd and looks like it has atmosphere. They should look at that and just ditch anymore stupidity over large stadia that look empty all the time.

The novelty will wear off mate.
And let's not forget that the gaol has closed just down the road so day release 'visitors' won't be as prevalent when the going gets tough...

I expect them to come up against a pretty fired up storm this week

Will be a good gauge to see how well they are really going this year

They have so far lost to two of the top 4 teams this year - roosters and raiders

I recall there was a "fortress" on the Northern Beaches!!! In fact, apart from the Rorters game we also have a 100% win rate at home hahaha

Yes but only if the rain is falling straight down. Any wind and the front few rows might get wet

Driving past is the rear part of the roof follows the angle of the seating so sits approx. 5m behind the rear seats.

The front looks a lot better that the old SFS and current Homebush (where you need to sit 50m away if raining to stay dry) so would be the best sheltered stadium in Sydney
