Kristina Keneally, Frank Sartor and David Campbell were walking over a bridge.

Kristina trips and gets her head jammed between the railings.

Without a sideways glance, Frank pulls aside her G-String, and bonks her senseless!

He stands back and tells David "your turn". Campbell bursts into tears.

"What's up?" asks Frank. Campbell sobs, "My head won't fit through the railings!"

Hmm 1970. Let em see.  The joke would have been Junie Morosi tripped and got her head stuck in the railing while Dr Jim Cairns gave her one.

Gough Whitlam would have been crying because he couldn't fit his head in the railing.  Gough had to wait a few more years before he got rooted by the governor general. 🙂

Originally when I heard it, it was a Kiwi/Aussie banter version. And probably a Romanian/Hungarian version in the 50's...
