Because some people thing JWH is worth more than an early retirement for some stupid reason

JWH is a young forward on the up. His from for NZ in England was really impressive. Remember Manly signed him RU.

He definitely will be playing better footy in a couple years than he is now. Better signing someone who will improve then soemone already at the top commanding  $400k. A club would probably get him for  $200. He is very good well behaved young man.  I would be signing him.

Where is that Prediction time vault to bring back this post in 24 months.

Ernie, there is no way we would get JWH for that kind of money. He got that just going to the Chooks. He would be looking for at least 250 - 300k, maybe more.

Kite would be on about $180k or so I would imagine

I think he would be on more
When he came across I am pretty sure the figure sprouted was between 180 and 220k
I'm pretty sure it was $300k per season when he came over.

I remember the Nathan Brown post match press confrence a few years back when he spoke of Manly stealing kite for $400k.

Hes had a contract renewal since then so it might not be exactly the same but I cant see that being halved and Brent still being happy with it.

I'd say 300 - 350.

Dies the same also apply for Lama Tasi Ernie?

Would Manly be interested in monitoring his performance with a view to getting him back from the rorters in 2 years time?

depends how he plays over the next few months, Smith is not giving him much game time. The lure to the Roosters was not anywhere near as much money as people think -  at least as per what was inked in the contract. Plenty of allegations about under the table top ups ?

As far as Lama goes he is not off contract so he is worth monitoring for the next year.

I'll let the coaching staff decide, they haven't made too many mistake re. players retention and new signings.

If we make it to the GF this year we wont win it without a huge game from Kite.

If we make the GF, Kite is guaranteed to have a huge game. He is the type of player you can depend on in the big games.

Heard today that Hargraves atitude is all wrong at the roosters.  He is apparantly the last to arrive at training and the first to leave.

Spends plenty of time at all the nightclubs and is quite big headed.

Kitey has been great but he will be a victim of the cap.  Manly will not be able to offer him what he can get if EPL.

That's OK Clit, he should go where the coin is greatest with our blessing.  He's been a workhorse, but his best is behind him.
