I think it's the level Tom plays at now in club land that's as big of an issue as the amount of games, how many good games has he played in the last 2 years.

I mean last year he finished 4th in the Dally Ms. In 20 games having 17 tries, 21 try assists and 15 line breaks. So Id say quite a few.
I'd say half of those he was plain ordinary in, when he's great he's great however that is more often than not, not the case anymore

Going a bit Old Testament lately, old boy? Musta got up on the wrong side of the universe again, lol

Toms form has been off this year but the fact that he is 2nd in the team for try assists and line break assists despite only playing 9 games compared to 15 by many others shows that even in poor form and devoid of confidence he still contributes.

I think our expectations based on his pay packet and previous achievements are sky high and thats were the disconnect is.

Form is temporary, he'll come good.

It hard to really compare
But one of my pet peeves is how often we have gone to Tom with nothing on
Just no effort to make him part of the play, but he is the play

The expectations he has carried for years has been enormous and in my view part of where his head is at There is a carefree Tom in there still ready to have another dig he just needs tobe 3rd fiddle.

Be hard being in a team where your halfback rarely gets tackled, runs the ball, plays to preserve and only goes to rehab to get sunscreen and a neck rub while others carrying that load have still left body parts on 3 seperate grounds

Teams know
