So in your opinion, Galvin's market value is $800k?

How does that 'reflect' what the Tigers offered him? $6.5m over 6 years = $1.083m.

That's a difference of ~$200k.

Okay I will try this one final time. Fair Market Value! Ie a club can't sign him for 500k because he wants to win a comp. Fair Market Value - where unders isn't half price but a ball park figure close to what a player is worth.
