I’m throwing Tom in there as well for those that see Tom as a centre

Wing Reuben Garrick +. centre Moses Suli

Wing Moses Suli + Centre Dylan walker

Wing Garrick + Centre Dylan walker

Wing Abbas miski +. Centre Parker / Tom Turbo

Wing Taufua +. Centre Parker / Tom Turbo

Wing Garrick. +. Centre Parker / Tom Turbo

Wing Moses Suli. +. Centre Parker / Tom Turbo


Suli - still young , attitude in question , work in progress , safe hands , good defence , size , post contact meters Wing/centre

Walker - great try scorer, good all round skills , creativity , small in size but has brains Centre + 5/8
Kick goals

Garrick - quick, 6 foot plus , great goal kicker , Brave Centre/wing/fullback

Miski - good foot work low centre gravity , good build , good finisher , good hands , calm cool composed wing

Taufua - great finisher , strong carries , lapse of concentration at times , but since Des arrived this has improved Wing.


Trying to save as much $$$$$ on the salary cap as possible but still having a strong side

I got a bit mixed up with all the combinations mate - been a big weekend so still dusty....
Good point though - there are some big, tough decisions for Des, as there are many who have done enough to keep a spot but there are 2 world class players who will be straight in, plus Suli who Des rates and is likely to get a spot....so that's 2 -3 players will have to make way that have been part of a winning combination....

Being an old fashioned three-quarter myself I can't believe today's centres and wingers have to be classified as 'right' or 'left'. Surely you should be able to play both sides.
Anyway. as long as Loaf is in the team on the wing or in the centres, on the left or the right, I'll be happy.
He has been tremendous for us this season and has proven good enough to be our No. 1 goal kicker.

I prefer Suli size and strength over Walker skills

Providing Suli is able to Correct his attitude

You are kidding. Suli is slow and doesn't have a football brain. Walker is skillful, stronger and more agile.

I prefer to have a back on the left and right side who can do the tough yards coming out of our red zone

And a walker / Garrick combo does not give us this luxury

I think what you're saying is you want the worlds slowest backline. Walker played better in one game back with zero match fitness and out on his feet from 60 min on than Suli has ever had.

What walker lacks in size he makes up for it with his brains

He knows how to find the try line

But he has documented issues stemming back to Souths Sydney days

Alcohol and tension at home could make him a risk in the long run

I prefer big strong outside backs that’s all 6’0 + 100kgs

I'll get crucified for this, but I have been really enjoying Elliot efforts in defence. Both him and turbo are injury prone due to their build and the way they put their bodies on the line but with both fit I'd steer to:

1. Elliot
2. Tafua
3. Walker
4. Turbo
5. Garrick
6. Croker/Cust
7. DCE
