There was a similar stunt a couple of months ago on one of the fox shows where they had some stooge run at Haumole 'for a laugh'.

The poor guy was padded up and had a helmet I think, but Haumole's tackle didn't miss, they showed slow motion of the whiplash and I was surprised the poor guy's neck didn't snap.

People have been doing the run it straight challenge for years, it was really popular about 5-8 years ago. Every high school party I went to always had a few & it was good laughs but can’t deny it isn’t stupid + dangerous. Unfortunate situation but it won’t stop. I’ll be surprised if that professional league they are trying to get going isn’t shut down though

Mario Tartak has been issued with a proposed 12-month suspension and $25,000 fine for communicating with an underage player without a legal guardian present.

Matt Desira, who looks after Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall, was hit with a proposed six-month suspension and a $10,000 fine over allegations of “non-reporting and dishonesty” following police charges and court proceedings which were brought against him.

“The NRL has proposed a 12-month suspension and a $25,000 fine for Mr Tartak,” the NRL statement said.

“The breach notice alleges that Mr Tartak communicated with an underage player without a parent and/or legal guardian being present. The breach notice also alleges that Mr Tartak entered into a commercial arrangement with two NRL Clubs, in breach of the Accredited Agent Scheme Rules.
