Oloapu moved home to live with his family in Redcliffe and just over a month ago returned to the field via Brisbane’s A-grade competition.

...But the most overpaid of all would have to be 30-year-old forward Ryan Sutton.
Sutton was brought to the Bulldogs in 2023 on a three-year $600,000 a season deal and managed just 13 games, the last of which came that season.
It was such a disaster that the Bulldogs actually paid out the final year of his deal this year to free up a roster spot, a spot eventually taken by Lachlan Galvin.

Darren Lockyer has confirmed to Love Rugby League that he has 'committed' to a purchase agreement to buy a majority stake in London Broncos.

Darren Lockyer has confirmed to Love Rugby League that he has ‘committed’ to a purchase agreement to buy a majority stake in London Broncos.

Lockyer, speaking in England on Wednesday before flying home to Australia, has admitted that a deal is done with him and his business partner, Grant Wechsel, to take up a 90 per cent stake in the Broncos. Gary Hetherington will take on the remainder of the stake in the club moving forward and head up day-to-day operations.
