Glad To See We Learn

Gee I'm so glad we have the next Supercoach running this team....he teaches us just so much and we learn all the time......

[Insert Leonard's SARCASM sign here] 😵

The game against the Chooks a few weeks ago was almost a repeat of the farce we put up against the Tigpies at Brookie earlier this year (and we have the Tigpies at Campbelltown next week.....).

And tonight's game? Almost a carbon copy of the loss to the Warriors in Christchurch. Get to an early lead....then die in the arse until the last 5 minutes when the game is already gone.

Mental toughness.....I'd put my money on a 5 year old girl getting yelled at by her mum over the mental toughness of this "team" under Trent Barrett. We are flat track bullies who have no idea how to put up resistance and turn it around when things start to go wrong. Its like shampoo.....lather, rinse and repeat.

The reality is that while the players need to shoulder blame for the on-field performance.....the coach just can't coach for $hit no matter what the media or some players think about him.

In a results driven business, Barrett's results as a coach should be driving him all the way to Centrelink.

I thought the tide was turning from at least one commentator tonight. Anasta was quite critical of Barrett pre-game.

Basically saying Trunt was using excuses, rather than shouldering much of the blame.

IIRC during the loss to St Merge in Wollongong.....even an ex-team mate of Barrett's (Gasnier) started questioning his coaching when we were continually kicking for touch on the last when down by 10 points or more.

It seems that quite a few former players have started to see that Barrett isn't the great coach Phil Gould likes to sprout that he is. Gasnier, Anasta, Brandy, Tooves, Brian Carney. Its only the idiot newspaper journalists like Kent who've never played a game of top grade football in their lives who seem to think that Barrett is hard done by being at Manly.

All we have learned is that Trent is no head coach . If any club signs him as a head coach I will go full monty on my avatar
