Glenn Stewart

Glenn is a great player and he will step up in the next few weeks. Yes, obviously too much side ways crabbing is an issue but the staff will be watching this and working on different structures. He is a former test rep and will get going soon.

He has not stepped up. In attack, and that is why we have him, he just got in the road. Crab wise, poorly timed kicking options, slow obvious playing

He needs some time in reserve grade to sort himself out. He just doesnt look fit, or sharp. He will come good] eventually, but we dont have time for this.

I've said it before, Glenn has lost the ability to run trough the middle and run holes, he no longer comes up the middle, he will gladly sit out wide an be a ball playing lock, but in reality the only thing he is doing is giving our formation in attack stagnation by too much lateral movement.

For us to go forward Glenn needs to be coming up through the middle and get rid of this ball playing stuff for a few weeks, that's what the halves should be doing !

He is too busy polishing his Clive Churchill Medal to read the undeserved criticism being thrown about after two games back on here.

His season last year was ordinary and his finals series last year was terrible. It's been over a year since he produced anything of substance is at the moment looks like mini George. Why would criticism be undeserved?

With his current weight, him running sideways is a danger for us. Too slow and especially last night, by the time the ball got to Lyon, the defence was already there. Now that Cherry-Evans has become more experienced, I'd like to see Gifty come in one or two spots in the line.

Have to echo the sentiment on this thread - not sour grapes talking I expected us to probably lose last night. But Glenn's move to stop, prop then slowly shuffle to his right has been done to death...it aint fooling anyone anymore and the defence is just sliding on to his outside man and crunching him. Slow motion.

Just looking at him you can see even he knows he just aint anywhere near his real form at the moment.....looks cumbersome...know he will come back to somewhere near his real form....but really hope its soon.

You can't fault his defense but in attack he is cramping up Lyon. When Symonds was there he would run a hard line which gave Lyon more room.
