From what I read on Saturday, we didn't name the side until two hours before the trial kick off in order to take pressure off playing Dylan Walker.

As for the cheap watch.....not the best we can get but another front rower with experience wouldn't go astray.

Everyone knew full well that if we'd named the side when everyone else named theirs and Walks was in it, it would have blown up bigger than Hiroshima. Naming the side 2 hours before kick-off gave no time for the media to get their 2 cents worth in, and just about the only others who knew by the time the game started were Manly fans, most of whom would have been more than happy to see Walks out there.

I am ok with Big Sam on low coin.
I just wish we knew each club’s salary cap position so we knew where we stood and how much we had in the kitty. I am ok with players salaries remaining confidential, I just want the overall picture. The NBA does this and it is great for fan engagement.
