That moment still gets the hairs on the back of the neck going and the adrenalin. One of the most special moments I ever had the pleasure to witness, to see a warrior like Beaver score a try to finish his career with Manly. Spine tingling stuff, we were blessed that day!

We had two sitting next to us.

They looked and sounded like a couple of swordswallowers and they couldn’t explain why as Sydneysiders they followed the Melbourne team.

They left early.
