Logically speaking, I still don't get the fact that they rejected the offer for Gifty saying he was worth more than that (was it 300k or 600k??) even at that late stage of his career, yet for years the player rated one of the best ever.....Darren Lockyer......was paid only around 300k per season by the Donkeys (the rest of course was TPA's from the Thoroughbreds, about $1 million per year). No offence to Gifty, as good as he was no way would he have been rated more by the NRL than Lockyer.

Of course, this is the NRL where Spock and his logic were banished back to Vulcan long ago.....

I am certain that Toddy Slimeberg will make that determination based purely on the facts of the case .... the fact of "which" club wishes to sign him .....

He could be walking in to a hornets nest. If he doesn't put in or struggles to fire, he will be under more pressure than he could have imagined.
