.. Grill GreenTurd today at Midday in our live fan Q&A .... Daily Telegraph .com.au

... for those of youse with strong stomachs and thick hides ... if anyone can listen and report back that would be great ...

PSS ... wonder how many fans will have their questions "blocked" by technical difficulties ...

If someone has time maybe ask about the Sea Eagles salary cap appeal -
Namely, given the appeal has clearly taken some significant time - and given issues of the salary cap affect all clubs and are of great concern to fans - will the findings of the appeals committee be made public? That is, the actual findings - as opposed to a mere summary paraphrased by Mr Greenberg or some other NRL official not involved in the appeal?

Why bother he’ll be reading from a script with the same answers over and over. Polishing his turds and blaming others.

Everyone is on notice from the top (of the refs) down.
That’s something we’ll review at the end of the year.
Numbers are up.
We have strong plans in place for the future to grow the game.
Fans are the lifeblood and we listen to them.
There’s no problem with the bunker.
The crackdown was a success, you’ll see all the players adapted so I instructed refs to ease up and the game now is much better.
That ref/touchie has been demoted for their poor performance (1 week).

What it will be worth getting the stats on .. remembering that it is from fans ... is how many questions were not put through due to "technical difficulties" .... they may have to close the site down early ....

I put forward the below question, nothing with too much heat, yet it still didn’t make it through moderation:

“G’day Todd,

Are you able to shed any light as to when we may see a conclusion to the Manly Salary Cap situation?”.

"We've got to get it right, and we'll be making sure we do"
"We're reviewing the process"
"We need to engage with stakeholders"
"Blah blah blah"

Boy, the questions that made it through were soft, to the point some started off by saying " I think you are doing a good job....."

The toughest one regarding salary caps and rich benefactors went like this:

Q: Does the salary cap really work all that well? If there is a club with wealthy 'benefactors', can't these clubs unoficially induce these benefactors to send perks to a footballers family or similar eg a reduced price on a car or a house...so its outside of the contract and teh cap. Lots of scope for this sort of thing i would think!

A: The salary cap works well - that is why we have one of the closest comps in the world. hard to pick a winner each week and almost impossible to know who will be the premiers in 2018

That's some priceless PR spin, don't answer the question directly by giving a response that supports your preferred outcome.

And some people are suggesting he's a potential to replace Sutherland at Cricket Australia.

CA has enough issues and doesn't need a muppet like Todd to wreck their game too.

Lol....sure Todd. The last 6 years haven't been predictable at all :drunk: and the Roosters, Broncos and Storm don't see any benefits outside the cap :smoke:.
....and here I was thinking the evenness of the comp was due to the constant square ups (and worse) by the refs.
Does he honestly believe all NRL fans are knuckle dragging, sister marrying Queensland or is he deluded enough to think he can pull the wool over our eyes?
(FYI my current (and start of the season) pick for top 4 most likely premiers: Broncos, Storm, Panthers, Warriors)

Wish he would go there..... sooner the better out of the NRL!

Netball ???
As much as I dislike netball, no woman deserves this slimeball sliding up beside them:
