Hass goes to market

Remember this? Well he's open to leave Brisbane, so that's one hurdle down.

MANLY ENTER HAAS CHASE AS SEIBOLD OPENS UP ON DCE

Superstar Broncos prop Payne Haas has emerged as a potential target for Manly in the wake of Daly Cherry-Evans’ decision to quit the Sea Eagles at season’s end.

But while Manly have an interest in Haas, they won’t be making a formal play for his teammate Adam Reynolds, with the Sea Eagles to prioritise the pursuit of Canberra halfback Jamal Fogarty ahead of the Broncos skipper.

Manly have cash to spend following Cherry-Evans’ Brookvale bombshell and Sea Eagles chief executive Tony Mestrov says the club is targeting a marquee front-row signing for 2027 and beyond.

That brings Haas into the frame, with the Broncos enforcer off-contract at the end of 2026, meaning he is a free agent open to rival offers from November 1 this year.

Mestrov concedes it would be a near Mission Impossible task to convince Haas to leave the Broncos, but says the NSW Origin star is a player of interest if he chooses to test his value on the open market.

--------------

I don't think Penrith or Melbourne will have the cash for him. In terms of teams he could immediately turn into premiership threats, I think we are the only option who could pay him $1 million. Paseka and Haas would be incredible. Those are the two players where you can afford to have Jake in the middle.

DCE gone, cut the Trbos and give it to Haas.

Than you for posting feathered friend
The Door is open at the Broncos
No player looks like they are happy there
They all look Desponded
The Honey moon looks to be over and The Maguire Broncos Marriage is heading for a Divorce
It is still early days perhaps but it is certainly not happy days at the broncos club

Can't see Haas leaving the family compound to move interstate ... with both parents in goal he is the head of the house, looking after his Siplings ... but ...

It's not his parents we want in goal, it's Hass in the opposition goal after scoring another try.

Oof - that was a lot of hogwash just to point out you accidentally typed goal, not gaol.

Just come over to the dark side and type jail..! lol.

erm...Looking at the bronco stats in the forwards, it was Haas and Carringan and basically no one else. So he's putting in at least. Even with that 1 big run up the sideline.

Are forwards worth super big coin in today's game? I don't know, but you'd think we'd throw our hat in the ring. His family pursuits don't seem to effect his on-field performances.

Definitely interesting, he is the "provider" for the family now and if it's a big carrot, which it will be, it'll be hard for him.
I reckon he’ll join his brother at the Titans. They all live on the GC. Dessie will get it done, backended contracts, third party promises, whatever it takes.

He’s prob going to go down as one of the best front rowers to play the game but it would be a big money ask plus a long contract = a lot of risk.

You’d think he’d want 1.3M x 4-5 yrs min to leave the broncos . I remember when we signed Brett Kite from the dragons which was a masterstroke. Maybe this is what needs to be done
