Matt Hayden saw the writing on the wall and chucked it in this morning.

Sad way to go out but the time had come, he was awesome when at his best, unfortunately that was a while ago.

Good Luck Mr Hayden, thanks for the memories.

A decision which was at least 2 months overdue....he had to walk, because he wasn't the player he used to be.

Congrats to the big man on a great career, his solidity at the top of the order will be missed and it's a great shame that another crucial part of the greatest cricket team of all time has moved on. Good luck to him with his cooking or whatever else he has planned in retirement.
