He has gone up a level the last two weeks. No one in the NRL runs harder then Walker at the moment. No one.

Hes added some kicks in from last year to this year and all have been crackers. I agree he can add those skills from 6 into his new game under no pressure to produce them.

Some of his and Sironen's kicks have been fantastic on that right side. Dare I say it, if Walker shows more of those silky skills alongside the aggression and pace he already has, he could be better than Killer.

Killer is my favourite player of all time, Walkz is my current favourite player at the moment and i can also see alot of similarities, especially the back hand flick pass that both Walkz and Killer are great at, the chasing of grubbers from the 7 to dive on and score, the ability to roam and get involved in set plays, and bringing basic 5/8 skills into the game. Both are very similar.

I'd say Killer would easily shade him in terms of those 5/8 skills that he had but Walker brings aggression, pace and footwork on that edge. He'll surely improve on his playmaking as well since he's only 21. The sky is the limit for this kid.

Very true - the beauty of this play , is it brings those outside defenders up and the chasers are haring after the ball with the fullback iscolated near the sideline....often with Lyons kicks, they were subtle enough for the chasers to actually challenge the ball - landing it in that zone where he and the winger were often first to the ball....unless closing the game out and purposely finding the chalk.

I'd be quite surprised if manly is chasing him. It's just lazy paper talk, probably put about by managers talking up contract negotiation. Realistically no club would chase him. His manager would need to negotiate with any club to put a behaviour plan in first.

Must admit that i also cringe a bit with Walker "s power hit up - gap running but of course great to see and it must be very uplifting for the rest of the team . He would certainly be putting more pressure on the defensive line then the reverse situation. Would also be good if he can eventually acquire Lyon"s clever kicking options but just for now his brilliant speed of the mark and general play makes him a real weapon for Manly.

The things that impresses me most about Walker is his speed off the mark.

As for SOO, I just don't think he is an origin type player.

And Roberts would make a great depth signing.

There is no way we would sign Roberts for depth. If we signed him it would be for a starting roll in the centres. Not that i agree with signing him because i feel we have great backline as it is. If he was to come i would leave Walker at right centre where he is playing is career best footy and shift Roberts to left centre. This then leads to the next question if we keep Jorge or not. If we let Jorge go Kelly will be pushed to the left wing, if Jorge stays Kelly be push out. Who bloody knows whats going on..?

Walker is the most dangerous player in the competition ATM.
Not just the best centre by a mile...up with the best players in the comp.
No coincidence that the try on half time with DCE splitting the defence, was off a great pass from Walker who had scooted and had the opposition scattered and backpeddling.
Awesome player who has stepped up to become better than most ppl, including myself ...could have hoped.

His passing game has improved out of sight this year. This never used to be a strength of his in the centres.
