I have begun to hate the sound of rain

downtown Byron early this morning - poor bastards in Lismore and other places that are under again having, not even, or only just, cleaned up their once were homes

from my deck .. actually got much worse than that but have only once in 45 years seen that amount of water there - my 500 metres of access road totally destroyed but just doable in my old Range Rover --- I'm now a taxi for 12 people .... we are lucky - only 1 bedroom destroyed many friends and family severely impacted ... again!!

Nah, Lismore flooded a 2nd time and more very heavy rain and flooding predicted next week .. no end in sight.
