He is already extended at the club and unless they are negotiating a contract variation or some form of NRL approval, why wait.

I thought Peters did a fantastic job as our defensive coach last year. Our defence was huge in the first half of last year. Man I hope that comes true - please tell me it's not just a Silvertails special.

While Willie is a great bloke (not sure if he was our defensive coach though) zero chance he is coming back to the club who sacked him last year.

Zorba is blabbing all over the place that Cartwrong is our coach. He wouldn't be doing that if it wasn't so.

As much as I hate the decision and believe it the wrong thing that will only guarantee further below mediocre performance ...... Cartwright is a done deal. We have <1% chance of him not being our coach next year.

The only thing stopping the announcement is what to do with the quitter? Everything is on hold until he's packed up his **** and pissed off into the coaching oblivion that he so rightly deserves.

That way there is no payouts, Cartwong & TB leave and we get two new guys?

That’s about the only way I see this rumour being true.

By the way I think @strone33 and @Cameron have the same rumour , albeit from different sources to mine.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cartright thing was sheite. Good ploy to upset the faithful & then bung anyone else in who we would usually pan the sheite out of - but because they are replacing carty we all suddenly go you bute - thank god we're not getting the titans reject.
