Very true.
What she has endured in two court cases, without a result, will further discourage females from reporting bad behaviour. Why would they go through such trauma when these case are often so difficult for a jury to decide without reasonable doubt?
I'm still not in favour of the NRL 'no fault stand down rule' because it also impacts the lives and careers of players who are innocent until proven otherwise. And with our court system so slow such a decision is taking three years. I'm sure the NRL never took the real time delay into account when they introduced the rule.

I couldn't imagine the authorities pursuing a third court case, nor could I imagine the alleged victim agreeing to go through such another ordeal in court.
