Jacob Loko the prop?

Smokin Joe

Interesting to see the club site has aligned players into backs and forwards and Loko is designated as a prop at 112kgs/192cm.Interesting to see how he goes if true(more than aggressive enough)I don't know if he was playing at prop last year for Thirlmere, maybe someone else does?Plays with no fear so could be interesting....I also didn't know that Muala(115kgs/187cm) and Vailea(116kgs/193cm) were that big,Amone looks to have bulked up a little to 104kgs.

Would not be the first time that a big , powerful outside back is given a try and a hit out as a prop in the Manly system . He will either be suited playing there or reverting to the outside backs again . Has been injury prone in the past but if he can overcome this issue , match fit , focused and based on his previous potential , could still be a pretty handy player .

Just saying .... he won't be the first centre/winger to go on to be International forwards ....... or the last, Tom Turbo will be in the 2nd row by 2020.
Ideally his brother Ben will be in the Manly 2 nd row then , running of some of Jake "s passes and helping setting up Tom from full back

Then it will be an all turbo backrow because Tom will be there ...

'in the 2nd row by 2020'? What are you smoking? If you said 2025, I'd consider your argument (but still disagree). But 2020, you must be joking.

Blakey, Blakey Blakey ..... Love Tom, but he is 8'11" and weighs 400lb, and at 21 is not the most agile fullback at getting to the low balls or reacting to grubbers .....

He already makes half of his runs as hit ups on the edges and middle ....

He has a couple of years to go as one of our best ever backs ... but then he will go on to glory as one of our best ever 2nd rowers ....

By 2020 he will be 9'6" and 500lb.

Woodsie, Woodsie, Woodsie. If you think Tom will be a forward in 2 years (like you say), I'm happy to have a 5k bet with you. You keen?
