Stuart Davis was a very under rated winger . He was tall and thin and always found his way to the try line . A very evasive and great finisher who was never out of place against the best of opposition .
He was not a representative player but was a Manly legend who served our club well .

Just like the the honest toiler Lewis Brown.

Anderson’s improvement over 2017 was exciting. He is a real talent, and we have several of them - Wright, Cust, Funa, Fainu, Paseka, Olakauata. But none have played first grade yet. Good to see them in the team photo today. Wait and hope.

Well, you may find that attractive and exciting, Bozo (and no judgement), but the players may find it hard to run.

Jade seems equally adept at wing as well as full back so this can only be of a benefit to his own prospects of eventually cracking a spot in Manly's top grade squad . Jade also seems to be able to sustain good speed in the open as well as his sharp and impressive speed of the mark and his over all defence appears reasonably effective. Probably can draw some comparisons to a Josh Adko - Carr playing style player at present and that is not such a bad thing , Jade definitely has excellent natural ability to hopefully advance his career with Manly .

Watching our U20s finals run last year it was quite obvious that Jade 1.) has blinding pace off the mark (kinda like Jennings in his earlier days) and 2.) he is slight of frame so would need to bulk up somewhat if he wants to play with the big boys

Niceeee, I’m possibly the number 1 fanboy of Josh Ado-Carr on this forum so I would take that comparison as a massive compliment if I was Jade! 😀
I hope uncle cliffy makes some appearances at training when Jade cracks through to first grade : ) have a word with the halves and show Cherry when to pass to Thompson like he did with Beavs ; )

My son lives with Blake Andrews, and what the club has done to procure his advancement is very commendable. Look out for Blake, he is a hard worker and destined for good things.

Were his Blake playing in 2018? Still U20s?

Played well as a centre earlier last season then equally well in the back row . Good young player , still eligible for the 20 's i think ?
