Jake T.

As soon as Jake came off with that Head Knock
Jake did not have any noticeable impact on the team
Infact the Team stepped up a gear and increased their lead
What is Noticeable. Jake is slower and not the player once was
I can’t disagree with this. We looked different v Penrith as well. That was more noticeable than when he came off v Cows.

I know it probably gives your ego a boost, but ever think about taking a break from being the morally superior arbiter of what’s acceptable? I’m sure “women folk” would be unacceptable to someone, so best make sure your own house is in order before projecting onto others. Have a good day, and try to smile every now and again, the world will probably survive without your moral policing for a few hours.
Chill, no need to get knickers in knots, everyone’s sense of humour is not the same.

In fact I still recall what I reckon is the funniest line I ever posted here, but it triggered an immediate torrent of outrage and indignant abuse!

Sorry, I must have missed the punchline amongst all the moral posturing. Maybe a heads up next time? Seems like a few others must have missed it in your self proclaimed funniest line ever post as well. Perhaps you are too subtle for us Neanderthals. Also, I could not be any chiller, and my knickers are unknotted. I’m off to ask the wife/‘er indoors what’s for tea.

Jake has been concussed twice recently and on each occasion he went high instead of his customary target of the breadbasket. Needs to go back to his old ways instead of this new waltzing style of holding them so the defence can reset. Nowhere near as effective and also is having dire ramifications for him.
You know why he's stopped that tackling technique. Because the idiots that run and officiate the game penalise great tackles around the legs or in the bread basket because of their insane belief that the game needs to look like a combination of touch football and basketball.

It's only 3 o'clock!

You do it a lot though, so you could excuse people for thinking you actually mean what you imply when posting the way you do. It might be time to get some new material for your comedy routine because the old stuff comes across as stale and self righteous.

It’s possible he was just daydreaming on the sidelines. I have that look on my face often, but it’s usually when the wife is nagging me about something.
Mate, I needed that faraway look this afternoon when my wife started on at me about why I won't sell my mint condition 2004 GT Falcon. "You don't even drive it. It just sits there taking up space." On and on she went until I diverted her attention to the new kitchen bench top she wants to have installed.

Yeah, I hear you. No appreciation for smart investing. Mine’s the same. Had to get rid of my 1972 Cortina for the same reason. Well, that and because it had a blown head casket, but still. That’s a sweet ride you have there btw - I just knew you had to be a Ford man. The Ford 1-2 in 1977 is up there with my favourite sporting moments.

"On Sunday night against the Rabbitohs, the Wests Tigers prop Terrell May played all 80 minutes for 199 running metres, six tackle breaks, three offloads and 63 tackles, 0 misses."

Now that's a prop output we need.

I recently sold a 1976 F100 fully restored with a beautiful galvanized steel tray. I bought it off a bloke cheap a few years back. So, she hasn't got a hope in hell of getting me to part with the GT. To be fair she is a great girl who looks after the extended family without a complaint, best cook I've come across besides my mother, and very easily pleased.
