Jake must play prop.
Classy Post !. Come on now, let's try and keep the peace rather than bringing back the Biff every time we don't agree on some point.
Great player great clubman and whilst I don’t know him personally he sounds like a wonderful human being. I think he still has plenty to offer if utilised sensibly but his health and long term well being are paramount. Sure he is being paid top dollar but I bet he’ll be prepared to take a fair cut if he plays on unlike the dollar chaser.
How'd he go the week before when they were pumped 64-nil."On Sunday night against the Rabbitohs, the Wests Tigers prop Terrell May played all 80 minutes for 199 running metres, six tackle breaks, three offloads and 63 tackles, 0 misses."
Now that's a prop output we need.

Imagine what the score would have been without him.74mins, 12 hit ups, 106m, 33m post contact, 4 tackle breaks, 52 tackles - 3 missed.
Imagine what the score would have been without him.
Fair enough. But his form is not the reason they chose to do so.I'm glad NSW and the shadowy figures pulling the strings left him out of their side.
Stick around mate. You know that you weren't promoting misogyny, and I'm sure there are others on here like myself who know that also.Point well made and of course, no one wants to encourage violence of any kind, least of all me. However it does feel sometimes that certain people on here assume a position of moral superiority over others, across a range of topics and issues. How much of that is well meaning and how much is just posturing I don’t know.
But, as you say, we live in a society where everything we say is scrutinised, and perhaps misconstrued. I made a joke about being nagged by my wife, which could be construed as perpetuating a stereotype, or perhaps I am nagged constantly, which is itself a type of abuse. Was it a joke or was it a cry for help? Either way, in hindsight, it’s better to say nothing and not risk offending someone. I have therefore decided to stop posting for a while, which should please a couple of other members.
PS I don’t recall anyone voicing any concerns for Bozo and the pile on he cops on here on a regular basis. I’ve never heard him say a bad word about anyone, but he sure cops plenty of personal stuff. Pretty sure there are plenty of other well known members who have stopped posting for similar reasons. So whilst we continue to police for potential low level misogyny etc, let’s also police for straight out abuse. Cheers to all.
I saw on Instagram and also on the club website that he was listed out due to concussion protocolsJake out again.
Any updates on him from the medical department?
( Of course not)
Yes he made 45 tackles last night.
However...
As uncomfortable as it may be to acknowledge, as a middle forward playing nearly 70 minutes, 4 runs with the ball for 35 metres is not acceptable. We cannot and will not win matches with those numbers.
Because of his club status and salary cap impact, I think the coach is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't drop Jake. Moving him to prop isn't going to make his lack of go-forward less of a problem for the team.
Very well putYes he made 45 tackles last night.

He and the frog lead the defensive line which is a bit more than the tackles made.Well if only made 25 tackles he might run the ball a few more times.
To compare him to a couple of older player from an other team last night, the Cowboys Jordan McLean 8 hit ups for 68 metres in 64 minutes but just 22 tackles. Or Nelson Asofa-Solomona played 61 minutes.11 hit ups for 119 metres and 18 tackles.
But the Manly fans want him to make 60 tackles, 20 hit ups and 150 metres at over 31 years of age.
Seems fair and reasonable. NOT.

What is fair and reasonable output for a middle forward on ~$950k per year until the end of next year? Would any other middle forward be defended for running less than 40 metres with the ball in 70 minutes?
Unfortunately, the amount of time he's on the field makes no perceptible difference to what he does with the ball in hand. He played about 60 minutes across three games in State of Origin last year, but nothing he did with the ball ever threatened to put the team over the advantage line.
