Bozo, Similar to your mistake about Ricky Stuart not ever winning a wooden spoon, you may want to read this article about Canberra's revised offer to Fogarty. They actually bungled his contract by failing to take up his second year option and then tried to up their offer in order to hold on to him.
You might have to be a little more diligent if you are going to make sweeping statements without the necessary research.

Mestrov’s error was re-signing Seibold,which meant DCE wanted out,much like when he asked for a release earlier in ‘24. To be fair to Mestrov though,Seibold was probably entitled to an extension of sorts,given he’d just taken the team to the second week of the finals.It also sounds as though the club has covered it’s bum with certain clauses pertaining to payouts

Theres always players available. Even contracted ones. 2 million on the turbos is 3-4 really good players. Tom barely plays... when he does hes busted. Jurbo is past his best.

There is a "rumour" that mestrov's position is also under pressure apparently from the board.... which does suprise me as from outside looking in he is doing alright
