I was disappointed with Fog’s game today. He was poor in defence, directly responsible for two tries and his edge was torched on a couple of others. He failed to get into smart positions for winning field goal opportunities, kicked the ball dead on two occasions, and was caught taking a dart out of dummy half on the 4th tackle, which meant Strange had to step up and kick. The ensuing kick was poor and gifted field position to Brisbane during their crucial come back period.

Was sobering to watch today as a Manly fan.

Yeah it wasn’t good. There was a bit of Kieran Foran circa 2021-2022, about the way he was torched by Walsh for the first try in the comeback. His lack of speed at 31 is not going to improve in the next four years 😳

Fogarty should not have been standing in the line to take a pass!
What did he possibly have to gain? The play was to take 1 or 2 hits to the middle and back to Fogarty who should have been standing 25m out…
Fogarty gave himself NO CHANCE of being in position… how is that anyone else’s fault?

And I think we are talking about different plays… I am talking about at the end of extra time when ref gave ball back to faders (should have been broncos ball imo) and they were 15m out with 28sec left and a full set and beginning from a break in play…

i never understood from the day we were linked with him how some blind manly supporters actually thought this was an upgrade... he cant tie DCE's shoelaces, all he is is an ok replacement but its a massive downgrade.. he is blessed with good forwards at Canberra which makes his job that little bit easier. Hopefully our forwards put in next year otherwise you will all see how one dimensional he is
