Garts is bang on the money with his comments.

I really struggle to see how Burns will turn our attack around, Lyon has far more attack in him than Burns. And all the people that say we shouldnt be playing him out of position, left centre is doing that as well, he is a better player on the right, that is where his natural attack lies

I haven't seen Lyon as an attacking 5/8 as yet, but maybe he'll get there in the end. But thereagain I haven't seen anyone take the line on lately and therin lies the problem. Our attack seems to consist of Choc or Stewart running wide. It works occasiaonally but not consistently. Glenn Stewart seems to have gone quiet running off Menzie's hip through the middle as well (granted he's only been back lately so here's hoping). Barring two stupid cockups last week we seem to have our defensive pattern reasonable, it's the attack that seems to falter.

We have long relied on kicks for our points.

This is difficult in the current wet, cold and slippery conditions.

Here's hoping for a dry and warm September (except for over the catchment areas).
