Another reason why we might've upped our offer for Hetherington in particular, is that he came from a hooking background. Should Croker retire, it adds another backup option, and a backup option much better than Turpin.

Ironically, Seibold was the one who turned Hetherington into a middle originally, and if he ends up back there, he'd be the one undoing it too... I do think it's quite unlikely, but it's an option for some extra cover if needed.

A little bit of trivia, another random player who was originally a hooker, before ending up in a completely different role, was Brian To'o. Not saying that we should sign the world's best winger as a hooker (even though that's unfortunately something our current coaches would consider), just a fun fact.

I hope and prey he’s gone. Another one of the D$E brigade we don’t need. Harbour bridge passes and 3,47mtrs in running metres a game doesn’t cut it. Apparently sooked it when dropped as well.

He cannot possibly be thinking about playing again , he’s just about ****ed now

I love watching the footy but I find these repeated concussions distressing to watch..surely the NRL must have some duty of care, even if it's against the players best wishes.
