Las Vegas 2025

Penrith too fit. Outstanding in attack and defence. They ask so many questions on almost every play. Set plays, decoys, they just keep the defence guessing.

edit: may have spoken too soon.

Having seen then through the trials and now in Vegas ... the Wahs have a lot of issues.

Decent backs, though some playing in the wrong position (RTS, like Turbo at Manly, should be the fullback. He is wasted on the wing). Half decent forwards made better by AFB in the the last few years and now Fisher-Harris......

But their halves without Johnson suck more than a $2 hooker. They might need him to take on the Allan Langer role as the team "runner" so he can be out there directing them where to go and what to do.

after watching part of the nrl games today it is pretty obvious that each referee will ref the game totally different. after the first game all i heard was how the warriors couldn't get a roll on, no sh!t sherlock!
the raiders were allowed to lay all over them and slow the play the ball down constantly. credit to them as the ref allowed it to happen. markers were regularly almost beside each other yet nothing from the ref.
2nd game the ref pinged players up for not being square early to set a tone, didn't see much more until the end but i was surprised when the sharks were tackled on the 6th with just over 2 minutes to go, handover, the riff player stood there for around 30 seconds looking around before deciding to play the ball. referee did s.f.a.

Whoever was involved in moving Yeo from centre to the middle should be applauded, gone from a first grader to one of the best players in the game, not much he doesn’t do on the field.
Cleary is the Whoever
It takes a Great coach to win a Grand final
It Takes Genius to win 4 in a row
