Did anyone (@The Wheel ?) manage to clarify which memberships actually add to the official total? I will happily add my current, future and imaginary children and pets if it adds to the total.

Muzz - the NRL supposedly counts ticketed members, however this varies. Eg Suncorp Members count as Broncos members etc.
The NRL apparently are in the middle of review now to clarify what counts etc.I believe our club count of just below 10k is all memberships

I sign up every year even though I live in NZ and the Membership Renewal is my Birthday to myself and the club gets my money so you guys are so fortunate that you can attend live matches and see players around the area. I only get to see them play live when they come to NZ which some years they don't so I miss out altogether. For those who are still thinking about it, it is time to jump on board and come for a wonderful ride.

What excuses? Our membership numbers have been average for years but we have a better game attendance than a lot of clubs (home ground).
What is YOUR solution to getting more members? Spaming memes won't work!
Just for the record, i purchased the gold package once Des was announced and have been a Football club member for years.

Im going sign up b4 our first game once i got the cash sorted. I dont live in nsw so will get the non ticketed deal. Bit concerned about people saying only ticketed memberships are counted. As im sure there would be a few thousand non ticketed out there. But hopefully it does count to the tally. Real excited bout this year.
Where on earth does it say Souufs have 50,00 members. Current 2019 figures first then past years figures (as at 6 days ago)

NZ improving by 47.85% despite another poor year on the paddock?
Sydney? Who is Sydney? I think they means Easts, down 13.73% despite winning the comp!
Crowd figures are influenced by a number of factors, the weather, the schedule/timing, whether it is a free-to-air TV match and, of course, the team's on-field performances.

First of all Congratulations for being a responsible fan and for doing the right thing and purchasing membership and also for being a member of the football club
Fans like you @anthonyb1965 that make an effort to become a member do make a big difference to our club and we need more fans with your passion and commitment !

Lets get this straight once and for all .......
I do not call my posts on here as spaming . I call them a AWARENESS . All the club and passionate well meaning members of our club can do is make fans be AWARE of their obligations to their club .
We cant tie fans up and drag them into the office and sign them up for membership as it all comes from fans who have their heart in our club .

Unfortunately, Wheel, you are preaching to the converted. The vast majority who contribute to this Forum are Sea Eagle members.
The challenge is to widen our 'catchment area'. This could include greater connection and resources in the Blacktown area where we have our feeder team.
But, imo, there is greater potential in gaining a following in Christchurch, NZ. Take both of our non-Brookie matches there; stuff Brisbane (yes I know there is a revenue reason but imo gaining a foothold in Christchurch will eventually make up for the shortfall).
Plus, having a pipeline of talented South Island footballers is invaluable from an on-field performance standpoint.
If Brookie Oval is allowed to disintegrate, as seems to be the plan of the Council and the NRL, then each season we should play one less match there and add that match to Christchurch. This is going to hurt me and others who love going to Brookie but it may just prod some action on turning Brookie into the showpiece it should be.

This seems like a culture thing with us Manly supporters and stats and figures do not lie . Sadly we are are not overall committed in numbers to our club like all the other club supporters . Which is a very sad fact indeed .
