Yep, Walking Death was my MP for some years she got the bum's rush with Gillard, then labor parachuted her back into the electorate as a State MP. The groans from the electorate nearly caused a Sunami at Redcliffe.

This thread proves what's wrong with our democracy. People are far too easily led by news media and vote on their opinions of the person in the election rather than the job that they do.

Dan Andrews was attacked from pillar to post for his heavy lockdowns, yet Gladys gets a saloon passage. Even when NSW is going to crap with case numbers and deaths.
Much better to know your relatives are alive and safe than in danger but you can visit them and spread more virus.

If this virus was handled better by the federal government and the NSW government there would be no lockdowns now. That is clear as day. Yet NSW hospitals and the AMA are warning of code Red and code blues in the coming months, they are already talking about not saving those over 72yo during the peak.
How would it be a good idea to willingly spread the disaster into other areas?

It sucks for us all, it really does. I haven't seen my grandson for nearly 4 months and I am starting to think I only have a virtual grandson lol, but we are all in the same boat. I guess all we can do is to stay strong silvertails brothers and sisters and hope it changes soon
