Lodge, you Monster

Not a great thing for Lodge to be overweight......claimed he was taking up boxing and I have been around that sport to know they pride themselves on having high endurance and the training schedules are all about keeping weight down, unless jumping up divisions which I doubt that is the case as he would just be in Heavyweight (over 91kg)....the bad part of this is weight can be a true indicator of Attitude, so not a great look.
 
I'm surprised to see him listed to start, especially this week against one of the more agile packs. If he was fit and in form yeah sure. May be it's going to be a good opening 10 minutes from him. But on what we've seen so far this year. Not sure he could run out much longer than that.
He really was very ordinary last start and now he's the run on prop??!! I hope he's been doing double time cardio work since then.
 
I could certainly get behind that.

I was genuinely shocked when I saw Lodge warming up on the sideline last game at Brookie. He had part of his jumper hanging out at the back and his belly at the front. He looked like he'd just come from the bar and was about to run on for the local pub side.

If he IS playing, I hope he plays well but that would be 2 shocks in 2 home games for me. And I'm trying to save those in case I'm unfortunate enough to have another myocardial infarction. 😀
