[Resurrected] Lol @ Parra

What about this quote from Hooper:

"Aside from the aberration of collecting last year’s wooden spoon, it is widely accepted Arthur has performed strongly since taking over at the Eels in 2014". @:D:clap:

Apart from the aberrations of last year’s spoon, consistently poor performances on field, salary cap cheating, a litany of off field issues, and woeful retention and recruitment I think BA has done a great job.

Just proves what a dumb football club the squeels are.
Who else re-signs a 2 year contract extension for a coach who's team 3 days earlier were flogged by 54 points, has a 45% winning record and coming off a wooden spoon year?
I can just hear the celebrations from 15 other clubs...

Hopefully it is onwards and downwards from here and they go back to back - spoons that is

Has anyone said this
Someone on 360, may have been Ikin, asked
"Is Parramatta on the cusp of becoming a powerhouse"?

A sh*thouse would be more like it but they aren't on the cusp, they've exceeded that.
Fair dinkum, what a question.
I need to change my meds.

In fairness to Ossie he was struggling to make ends meet. Had to offload his "investment" property at a 40% loss not long after. Good investment.....little wonder that the Squeals struggled with him at the helm.

He’s a talented dude, and his ban from directing Australian companies expired in February so I don’t know what the Eels are waiting for to appoint him Chairman...

Hooper would have to be the biggest farkwit in rugby league journalism.
Arthur would have to be the luckiest coach around to keep on getting resigned for another two years on top. He took over in 2014 and they finished 10th, 2015 12th , 2016 14th, 2017 4th, [and this must have saved his skin] 2018 last.
When he finished his next contract he will in all likelihood be Parramatta's longest serving coach with the worst record, does Parra know something we don't know, they were quick to sack club legends like Cronin and Hilditch whose records were no worse than Arthur's, I'm still scratching my head how he still survives.
There's a saying that you deserve the government you vote for, in Parra's case it's a case of you deserve the coach you keep reappointing.

They've just had 300 million spent on a state-of-the-art stadium, that's unique , new and modern.

Now, just this past week, they've had 40 million more promised for a Centre of Excellence.

All this, and the club hasn't outlayed $1. Also, they just got it done. No talk. No stalling for years. Just in and done.

But the dimwits in NRL 360 , despite Hooper claiming Parra to be a powerhouse is correct. It's about Roster management. They lose Moses to The Broncos and Gutherson to us, there's trouble for them.

I personally think we are waiting on a Gutherson decision, and the outcome of that will determine if we make an offer to James Roberts.

It's unbelievable.
I wonder how much lobbying the NRL does for this mob.
Somebody must be doing some.

Parra took a leaf out of the Scott Penn play book, pictures of a shiny new centre of excellence in the paper the very same week they had a cricket score put on them and resigned the master manipulator, the infamous Dalai Arfur Brain.

Watch that slimy jerk Arthur convince Gutho to stay for unders now that he has used him for leverage and sorted his own contract. I hope they resign the whole team.

Would love to see Gutho back but not for big money.
