Phil Gould had some interesting comments in a paper a while ago re the SL War. Also in the Sun Herald a few weekends ago (or was it Sat) there was a full article on SuperLeague War - 10 years on. Interesting reading which exposed he myths that were peddled during this time!!!

Well the Bird copped an absolute hiding. The ref gave it the worst score of the game (81) and we proceeded to lose a tight game by 4 points.

I had a look over there earlier. I didn't read the other essays, because quite frankly they looked boring as bat ****. The Bird however was superb.

Interesting position you find yourself in now though, does The Bird continue, or is it scrapped.
