I liked the Roosters tactic of kicking often on the third - turns the big boys around more and tires them out.

Let's hope no big boys like TLL or Shillington step on Jamie's ankle this week

Centralcoasteagle is correct, this game is season defining.  We need to put a big score on this side and start the push up the ladder.  I won't tolerate a loss.

David Shillington is the man we must get on top of. He is the player in the whole comp who has really ramped his level of play this season in my eyes. I saw him at Origin 2 and he has a massive game, was robbed of MOTM honours, and followed that up the next weekend with the Raiders

There'll be nothing left of big Shillo after Kingy opens a can of whoop arse on him tomorrow night ;)

shillo the pillow biter

u reackon he isnt gonna cop alot of abuse from the hill after his backdoor punching in SOO 3

I think everyone's in the dark. There was a comment from someone about 4 weeks out but there was never anything formal along those lines to my knowledge.

I know someone who watched Valley play at Harbord on the Sunday after he injured his ankle and Gift was there. He told her he'd be ok for the Canberra game but at that stage he wouldn't have had any scans. He didn't have any crutches or moon boot or anything.

Hmmm thanks for that, hoping he'll be there because Canberra have a very good pack and Watmough may struggle to play big minutes after last night

Any word on Gift is actually likely to play or not?

Really in the dark about the extent of his injury...
It's for the best. Everyone knows a gift is better if it's a surprise.

Late Mail from the Tele

Glenn Stewart (ankle) has been
cleared to play but Jamie Lyon
(ankle) will have to prove his
fitness at tonight’s training
session and is in doubt. Anthony
Watmough and Jason King are
sore but will play. David
Shillington and Tom Learoyd-
Lahrs have also been cleared.

This is the most important game of the season.
