Did anyone else see him interviewed on 7 News last night? He now works at Forestville RSL.

I think it was related to the easing of Covid-related restrictions. They didn’t even bother to name him during the story.

Reminds me of the time Channel 9 reporter Jane Azzopardi interviewed ‘Terry Randall, local resident’, who witnessed a terrible accident on Pittwater Rd at DY. I don’t think she, or the people in the studio, had any idea that the handsome, smiling interviewee was one of the greatest and most feared RL players to emerge in the 1970s.

Randall still looked as fit as a fiddle.

Similarly Geoff Gerard gets interviewed on tv occasionally in his day job, maybe state gov from memory, something environmental.

I thought that might be the case, however the notoriously sloppy way that the commercial channels (or 7 at least) cover the news these days, meant that they didn’t mention his name or his role.
