Should of been 16, but last night stuffed that. Who knows what happens over teh next 2 months now. Avoiding the spoon looks to be our main goal.
It is Disgusting seeing our Legendary Manly Club being Bought and Brought down to a Mediocre Level as the Mediocre People that Run it

If we didn’t have those three we would have 3 spoons by now.
The way the Penns do their buying I doubt they would have gotten much better. The good ones flick between Penrith, Canterbury, Easts, and Souths.
We don’t get the truly good ones, where there is real value and they are on the way up. We either pay overs for established players on the way down collecting pay checks, or promising plodders who never fulfil their promise.
It’s because of the player agents and who their mates are. We are just not in that circle and get ripped off in player deals.
Hence we look a pathetic pile of mercenaries.

Agreed. Without them we would have been battling for the spoon. The way things are going, Tom and Jake won’t ever play in a grand final, let alone win one.

Funnily enough we might end up battling for a spoon with them and Tom and Jake are almost certainly not going to play in a GF at Manly…….

I don’t and I think the proof is self evident, I’ve never been a huge DCE fanboy, the way he started his career with us, (excluding the premiership, as that was special obviously) the I want to be paid what I’m worth part after the GF win, upsetting the senior players that took unders to stay together, then his backflip and the long term deal (I hope we are finished with long term deals) through to this mess with his polarising personality and self centred approach.
Tom nope, started off brilliantly, then the injury curse found him, had he of stayed fit and continued to build on 21, you can’t blame him for the injuries, however that means he hasn’t been good value, so in other words he hasn’t been worth it either. Now his all but broken, physically and mentally cooked.
Jake, hard one, his current deal was ridiculous to begin with and was hitched to Tom, love Jake for his effort, consistency and all that his given over his time, but honestly we are carrying him on a $1m and it’s almost diabolical, not Jakes fault, he should be in the UK already the game has moved away from him, so no his currently not worth it either.
Maybe if we had signed them all to short term deals things might of turned out differently, who knows, however as noted the proof is self evident and our big 3 are definitely not worth it given how things have panned out, where in a mess. Maybe if the club had a decent recruitment team, we may have been able to build a decent side around them and things may have been different, so no they haven’t been worth it. We need to sweep the place and rebuild, most of the current squad including the coach need to be moved on.
