Careful what you wish for, just because they've got Monterey that doesn't mean it'si be good for the club, plus there's no salary cap in soccer so they can just buy whoever they want, not possible in the nrl (with the exception of the rorters and donkeys of course)

Look that would be some major sponsor and obviously in terms of funding, they in all likelihood would have a greater level of disposable income then the Penns.

The only thing with any buyer I want to see is that they are in for absolute long term.

Speculation on buying the club it is a pretty cheap publicity ploy to get your name around.

Let’s hope there are some more details before getting too carried away (also these guys do not always have the cash...take a look at some of the Football clubs which have been burnt)

One thing history has told us about Rugby League is that there has always been plenty of dodgy unfinanced fly by night punters out there who want to get a football team as a toy.. Sometimes they do.Ask the Knights.Ask the Titans.That turned out well.
